Malte and Jutta – A Family Surprise

Malte and Jutta wanted to have a very private elopement wedding ceremony, on a beach, somewhere far away. They both love to travel and decided the opposite side of the world from their home in Germany might be just the right place. They had 2 friends in Perth, where there are plenty of beautiful beaches,so they decided that’s where their marital journey and honeymoon would begin.

Everything was organised and the wedding was only 2 weeks away when I received an email from Jutta’s best friend in Germany. She, together with Malte and Jutta’s families wanted to organise a surprise for them, what could we do. A surprise dinner on the beach following the ceremony was decided on.

Everyone had to work together to ensure the surprise was perfect. We chose a beach that had a sheltered picnic area, protected from the wind. Jacqueline the photographer was able to convince Jutta and Malte that the best place for the ceremony was a little cove only accessible by climbing over rocks, Luckily the wedding party were all up for some rock-climbing and this gave Trenna time to set up the picnic on the beach, out of sight of the ceremony.

I had arranged another surprise, a WhatsApp call with their family and friends to coincide with the unveiling of the picnic. Everything was so wonderfully perfect we could all hardly believe it!
