Udi & Jia – The Bride Wore Slippers!

Udi was living in Perth, working and studying hard. His parents were worried about him and believed him to be lonely so they set about trying to find him a wife back home in Indonesia. They discovered the attractive and delightful young girl who served them at the bank was single, so they decided they would befriend her. A few months later they told Udi about her and told him he had to come home to meet her. It was a great match and they were immediately attracted to each other.

Back in Perth Udi contacted me about arranging the smallest ceremony possible as he and his wife-to-be were arranging a blessing in their church sometime later in the year. I met the gorgeous Jia a few weeks later and together we planned their little ceremony.

When they turned up for their wedding ceremony I couldn’t believe my eyes! Jia was in slippers! They were so laid-back and happy to be getting married that Anthea, the photographer,took enough photos to fill 10 albums!
