Lucinda and Kristjan – Bridal Fast Food

How many brides just totally forget to eat on their big day? Quite a few it seems, but Lucinda was not going to be one of them. She couldn’t wait to get her hands on a burger so it was the first stop on their way to where they had hoped to take photos after the wedding, Heirisson Island. Well as you can see from the photos, it meant that Jacqueline got some pretty special photos because the light had gone and the park was in darkness!

Lucinda and Kristjan are a wonderfully crazy couple anyway. After having applied for a partner visa, Kristjan had to leave Australia and wait for his visa to be approved. Lucinda decided to quit her job and join him in his home country of Estonia. For the next 12 months they travelled Europe together and immersed themselves in every foreign culture they could, creating amazing memories for life.

But, this memory has to be the best. I opened my emails one morning and found myself smiling from ear-to-ear as I read this news from Lucinda:

“Dear Delwyn, Just a little update of where we are at ♥
Currently we are in Amsterdam with my mom and dad who came to visit from Australia.
We had some super exciting news to share with them that we now want to share with you!
As you know Kristjan and I decided we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together in November last year, so we got engaged, however there was never an official proposal, it was more of a mutual decision between us both.
Kristjan always had the proposal planned, he just wanted to make sure it was perfect, so he took me on a 28KM hike (14KM up and back) up Trolltunga in Norway, the day before our 1st year anniversary together. It took us 5 hours to get up there and we promised each other not to go out on the ledge until the sunrise of our anniversary so we set up tent on the mountain.
On the morning of our anniversary, Kristjan and I made our way out to the edge and as I turned back to look at him he was down on one knee with ring in hand  ♥
And…. OF COURSE I SAID YES!!!!”

So it had to be beautiful spot for the ceremony too and The Scented Garden in South Perth was perfect. But, you are only allowed one guess as to where the reception party was held??? Yes! An amazing pizzeria for this Fast-Food Fan – Theo & Co in East, Vic Park.

A fun day filled with laughter and I hope Lucinda and Kristjan have many more to come.
